Ifreet Saraf

I am Ifreet Saraf, a current master's student who has always harbored the desire to make a meaningful difference in society. With previous experiences in research in the field of social sciences, I have come to recognize the power of data-driven insights and evidence-based solutions in driving meaningful socioeconomic changes.

I became aware of Swayong's missions to have a positive impact on society. The group where individuals with similar goals are using storytelling to work toward a common vision of a more fair and just society. This intrigued me, finding the commonality of this organization with my own convictions as well as principles. This made me realize that research is a collaborative effort driven by passion, empathy, and a tireless quest of truth rather than being the exclusive purview of academics and experts. I hope to challenge conventional narratives, elevate the voices of underrepresented populations, and spur action and empathy through my work with the Graphics Design & Illustration Team.
